LED modules designed to support the plant grow, control their growth, budding and blooming.
Plant growth, budding and blooming mainly depends on the light emitted. Luminous radiation takes different effects depending on wavelength and intensity of light emit, plant species and stage of growth. A light with wavelength in the range 380-520 nm is mainly absorbed by chlorophyll A and chlorophyll B and wavelength in the range 610-750 nm is mainly absorbed by phytochrome Pr or Pfr.
LEDs generate radiation with narrower spectrum than sodium lamps, so plants are absorbing more light energy.
LEDs also generate less heat than HPS lamps, this allows them to be used for illuminating plants from the side or bottom. GrowEmity light sources allow to fit spectrum for plant species by choosing appropriate LEDs and regulating power of each channel.
